Mrs. Nancy Allegro died Sunday morning, July 11, 2010 at her home in North Brunswick with her loving family by her side. She was born in East Orange and lived in Maplewood, Haddonfield and Somerset before moving to North Brunswick. Mrs. Allegro was currently employed as a Kindergarten Teacher at Judd Elementary School in North Brunswick. She was always very active with the school. She was a past President of the PTO at Judd Elementary and for many years also worked as a teacher's aid and substitute teacher.
Mrs. Allegro was predeceased by her father, George Sasso in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, James Allegro of North Brunswick; her children, Samuel and Abigail of North Brunswick and her mother, Grace Sasso also of North Brunswick. She is also survived by a large extended family.
Services will begin at 9:15am on Thursday at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset followed by a 10am funeral mass at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Wednesday at the Gleason Funeral Home.
