I've been trying to find the words to post something here. Last night I had a long chat with Andrea Atkins who helped to convince me to share this sad news.
Jane and I remained close but I don't think she kept in touch with many in the FHS community.
Unfortunately due to the horrific circumstances of her death and the fact that her immediately family is all deceased there was no obituary. ... Rather than try to find better words to soften this story I’ll share what I posted on my Facebook page the day I found out about her passing.
So, it's a beautiful morning and it's May 1st. I always remember that today is the birthday of Jane, a friend since the 6th grade. We kept in touch mostly through our annual winter luncheon, which was usually prompted by a note in the Christmas card that she would send. She didn't send a card this year but I, too, had cut back on sending them.
