Patrick Gianotto passed away on Thursday April 28, 2016 while vacationing in Key West. He was 62 years old. Mr. Gianotto was born in New Brunswick and was a lifelong resident of Franklin Township. He was the owner of Franklin Electric in Somerset. He was a member of the Hamilton Street Redevelopment Committee and strived to make his neighborhood the best it could be. He was a member of the Somerset Moose Lodge, the Franklin Eagles and a friend to all who knew him.

Mr. Gianotto was predeceased by his parents Frank and Bertha Gianotto. He is survived by his partner of over 25 years, Susan Hancaviz and his sons, Patrick A. Gianotto, Jeffrey Hancaviz and Jacob Hancaviz all of Somerset. He is also survived by his brothers, Frank Gianotto and his wife Dorothy of Toms River and Michael Gianotto and his wife Gail of Somerset, a sister Ann Marie Gianotto of Point Pleasant, a grandson Liam Michael Cuddeback and a large group of extended family and friends. 

Funeral services will begin on Friday at 10 AM at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset followed by a 10:30 AM funeral mass at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Interment of Mr. Gianotto's cremated remains will be Saturday at 10:30 at St. Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visiting will be held from 6-9 PM on Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
