Scott James Diaforli, 36 years of age from Kingston, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Philadelphia. Scott was born in Princeton, and resided in Kingston for the majority of his life. He was a graduate of Franklin High School, where he excelled on the football field as a wide receiver, advancing onto Monmouth College, and ultimately transferring to The College of New Jersey. After his college tenure, Scott spent the majority of his career in the restaurant industry in various positions.
Scott is survived by his parents, James and Pamela Diaforli of Kingston, his sister, Heather Diaforli-Day, his brother-in-law, Paul Day, two nephews, Vincent and Joseph, and a niece Audra, all residing in Franklin Park. In addition, Scott is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Funeral Services and Burial were held privately on Wednesday, May 24th in Princeton and Kingston respectively. In Scott's memory, contributions can be made to the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids at drugfree.org
Arrangements are under the direction of The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home Princeton.
