Kaye died suddenly and unexpectedly the fall after our 45th reunion. I remember how involved she was in the planning of that fun weekend gathering and how she loved the reunion contact with so many from our SPHS years.
Kaye was my roomie at the 40th reunion when we stayed at the Arroyo Inn. She had a great time and was an important member of the planning committee. We both took photographs and met a couple of weeks later for breakfast at a local (Costa Mesa) Coco's to share. Kaye's daughter had put her pictures in an elaborate scrapbook and she was very proud to display it. We had great time rehashing the reunion and planned to get together again soon to trade copies of our photos. Sadly, it was only a few weeks later that Kaye succumbed to what seemed to be a minor illness in the beginning. I'm glad i was part of her last memories of our years at SPHS.
