We definitely lost track of each other after high school. Bill was a great friend and teammate. It has been a weird 40 years always thinking of Bill as alive and wondering how he was, and not knowing he had already passed away. R I P

I have been feeling that I was wondering what Bill was doing -- and then felt very uneasy to see, on viewing this website, that we had lost Bill- with me all along thinking we were somehow with Bill. I now feel a strong sense of loss - In some ways I feel that we are back in 1961 or 1962 with Bill - the great athlete. Bill's funny sayings or jokes come to mind regularly. A strong sense of loss.
