Henry Bishop Grandin, Jr. Hank Grandin, passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2008, with family members at his bedside. He was born April 21st, 1927 in Pasadena, CA to Beatrice Olga Simpson and Henry Bishop Grandin and is survived by Mary Daneri Grandin, his wife of 55 years. Together they raised Michael (Ann), David, Laura and Steven (Miki), and the late Charles Grandin. He is also survived by his grandchildren Mathew, Sarah and Harley Grandin, and his sisters Nancy Hutchinson and Susan Taylor. Among many civic and philanthropic contributions, Hank founded Big Brothers of Marin.
