COARSEGOLD - David William Hood, 72, died at home on August 28.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 4 p.m., at the Episcopal Conference Center (ECCO) on Highway 41 just north of Oakhurst.
Mr. Hood was born in Los Angeles on September 1, 1929.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, of Coarsegold. Mr. Hood was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him.

A great and faithful friend throughout his life. Dave's wife Lorraine, died a year later from a stroke. They raised two fine sons, both medical doctors.
