ANNOUNCEMENTS

Class of 1990

20 Year Reunion

The 20 year reunion has been scheduled for July 16th and 17th, 2010.  This weekend was selected to coincide with the SSC All-Class Reunion that takes place every year.  The All-Class Reunion will be held on the evening of Saturday, July 17th.  Our class year will be one of the honor years recognized at the reunion; along with 1960, 1970, 1980, 2000, etc.  We thought that taking advantage of the All-Class Reunion would be an excellent way to minimize costs and reduce planning time. Below you will find details regarding each day's events.

We scheduled a variety of casual activities to provide an opportunity for you to see your old classmates, teachers, & school which is what reunions are about.  We hope you can make it!

Friday, July 16th, 2010

5:00 p.m - whenever - The patio at Buffalo Alice's (BA's) on Fourth Street has been reserved specifically for the Class of 1990.  A dinner consisting of pizza, pop and beer (of the cheap keg variety) will be provided.  Once the kegs run dry, a cash bar will be available in the Patio Area.

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

9:30 - 11:30 am - Teacher's Coffee Hour at South Sioux City High School.  Reconnect with some of your favorite teachers, and we are gathering input if there is interest in a tour the school.   (PLEASE TAKE SURVEY IN UPPER LEFT CORNER)

1:00 - 3:00 pm - Ice Cream Social at Leif Erickson Park.  Introduce everyone to your spouse/partner and kids!

5:30 pm - All Class Reunion at the South Ridge Dome.  Social hour will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a dinner at 6:30 pm.  A cash bar will be available, and a DJ will be providing the entertainment. We will also have a section that our class will be seated together.

The TOTAL cost of the reunion will be  $40 for a single and $55 per couple.  These fees consist of $25 fee per classmate (includes your spouse/date) for the events leading up to the All Class Reunion (Friday night 7/16 at BA's and Saturday Ice Cream Social), and $15 single/$30 couple for the All Class Reunion Events on Saturday, 7/17.  Please note that the All Class Reunion fee must be paid directly to the SSC Alumni Association, and CAN NOT  be paid through this site.  Additional information will posted on this site regarding where the All Class Reunion fee should be remitted.  The SSC Alumni Association will also be mailing out information to all alumni regarding where to send payment & when payment must be received for the All School Alumni event. It is important that you have a current address listed on this site.  If you plan on attending this event, please make sure you purchase your tickets in advance. A very limited number of "same day tickets" will be available at the door of the All Class Reunion.

Please visit the REGISTRATION to pay the $25 reunion fee (excluding dinner/Alumni tickets sold separately).
