It has been wonderful reading up on all my fellow SCS Eagles of 1988. It s hard to believe it has actually been 20 years.
I hope to be able to join you all for the reunion dinner, but I am still not sure if I will be able to attend. I am relocating from Seattle to Los Angeles during that time.
Well, let's see...What have I been up to since '88? I graduated from Wayne State University in 1993 with a degree in economics. I did some national and international travel to some great places. I worked in the Detroit area for a while, and then I returned to school to earn my law degree which I completed in 2000, at Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
I've moved and career-hopped more than a couple of times. The highlights have been: working as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland; working as Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives; volunteering for Sen. Obama's 2004 senatorial campaign race; and most recently working at Microsoft Corporation in Seattle.
Last week, I accepted a Corporate Buyer position with a corporation in Los Angeles that builds energy solutions, rocket engines and supersonic jet engines. I will be relocating to southern California in the next couple of weeks.
