Family CONDOLENCES

jANUARY 19, 2011

Marjorie (Larsen) Tuckett has just lost her 15 year old grandson in a tragic accident, that involved a car and a long board (skate board )that he was riding. His name is Jameson Tuckett. He was a very outstanding young man. Although this is a very tragic event in their family at this time, she especially wanted all friends to know that they are assured that he is in a better place. Although they miss him they know that he is part of a bigger plan. Her faith is very strong and she knows that they will be reunited with him someday. She is very grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and her family especially at this time.

Paul Max Reid ( Carolyn Nielson's Husband)

Paul Max Reid

1944 ~ 2010 (Age 66)

The greatest man to ever walk the paths of this world now peacefully walks the paths of heaven free of pain. Paul Max Reid passed away peacefully on December 31, 2010 surrounded by his family.

Paul was born at home March 26, 1944 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Max Reid and Blanche Stoker Reid. On January 13, 1967, Paul married his sweetheart, Carolyn Nielson. They were sealed for eternity on June 6, 1992. They were blessed with four sons, one daughter, 13 granddaughters, and 3 and a half grandsons.

Paul is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and lived a life dedicated to his wife and family. Paul's greatest legacy in this life is that he is loved, adored, and respected by EVERYONE who knew him. Each individual knew that he loved them "the most".

Paul loved the outdoors and the countless camping and hunting trips spent with family and friends. He enjoyed numerous trips with his beloved wife to visit pioneer cemeteries, pioneer museums and historical sites. He never let his wife do anything alone. They went everywhere together. They were best friends and enjoyed anything they were doing as long as they were doing it together. He spent countless hours at little league games, school programs, dance recitals, and any other events his children and grandchildren were participating in. We all knew he'd be there whether he was hurting or not.

Paul was a strong supporter of the Boy Scout program and loved the years spent building boys character and skills. He raised not only his four sons to become honorable men but countless boy scouts as well. He was quick to serve. Whenever anyone needed anything he'd say, "I'll be right there", and he was. He never told anyone no or asked them to wait. He dropped whatever he was doing and was the first person ready to help.

Paul graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1962. He worked in the Open Hearth of Geneva Steel for 23 years and Press Publishing for 15 years. Co-workers tell us that he would never ask anyone to do something he wouldn't do. He dug in and got the work done. He became disabled in 2005 due to many health problems that plagued him with pain. In spite of the pain, he never complained and never allowed anyone to see his pain. He always said that pain wasn't anyone else's problem to bear so he endured it quietly.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Nielson Reid; sons, Kyle (Katrina); Shawn (Koral); Travis (Rusty); Dallas (Kristina); daughter, Maridan Jensen; and brother, Garth (Gayle) Ried.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Blanche Reid; brothers, John, Gordon, Robert, and sister Joanne Clayson; and In-laws, Roger and Ruth Nielson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork Stake Center, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening, January 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork, or at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.walkerfamilymortuary.com

There is no doubt that in the resurrection he'll be standing at the gates of Heaven wearing a soft smirk with arms stretched wide saying, "I get the first hug". You are greatly missed already and will forever be missed. We love you Bampa!

Many of you will remember little Ronnie Carlson in Grade School in Spanish Fork. He was the one with the rod brace between his shoes. I thought you might like to see his picture again. Wish it could of been in better circumstances.

Dennis "Gary" Price returned to the presence of his Heavenly Father's love after having his life ended by cancer and complications related to diabetes. He died peacefully with family by his side on Friday, June 26, 2009.
Although he has suffered with many health issues, many of those who knew Gary came to know his humor and wit. He was always happy to see his family and friends and was proud of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
Gary served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in England where he met his first wife, Patricia. After honorably serving his mission, he married Patricia and both were blessed with five children. Gary served his country in the National Guard. Gary drove truck like his dad "Bish" for a few years of his life until he was injured at work. He learned a new trade as a draftsman and worked as a technical illustrator at Tooele Army Depot until he took medical retirement. In the years that followed, he remarried. Gary and Sheryl shared many good years together.
Among those who were there to greet him on the other side of the veil were his parents, Grace Trease and Angus Golden "Bish" Price, his second wife, Sheryl, and his beloved son, Steven. He now walks with them unencumbered by his physical body.
He is survived by his two brothers, Carl (Carol) of Ogden, Utah and Ron (Donna) of Payson, Utah; four children, Corey (Amy) of Tooele, Utah, Charlotte (Shawn) of Farmington, Utah, Matt (Trista) of Grantsville, Utah, and Hayley of Salt Lake City, Utah; and eleven grand children, Corbin, Kaiden, Jared, Madison, Rosie, Steven, Gracie, Connor, Breeanna, Walker and Carey.
There will be an evening viewing Tuesday, June 30th from 7-8 pm at the same place his funeral will be. Funeral services will be held in the LDS chapel at 415 West Apple Street in Grantsville. Another viewing will be Wednesday, July 1st from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. with the funeral beginning at 11:00.
