Kerri Seat (Whitten) VIEW PROFILE

Gone too soon is a compassionate caring sister and friend, Kerrie Ellen Seat Whitten, age 60. She passed away Monday night, January 30, 2023 in her home in Payson, Utah. She was born June 21, 1962 in Provo, Utah, the second of five children of John Delbert Seat and Connie Brewerton Seat. Kerrie grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah with three brothers and one sister.

In her younger years, Kerrie worked with the youth group, YACC, for a couple of years. Later, she and her former husband owned and operated Big Game Tours in Cimarron, New Mexico, where she was the head cook. Kerrie worked for the U.S. Postal Service for five years, then found employment as a caregiver for many years, going to the homes of elderly, and others, helping with their needs.

Kerrie enjoyed rock hounding and searching for arrowheads, and metal detecting. She also liked fishing and being in the outdoors with family and friends.

She is survived by her siblings: Debbie Kornacki of Payson, Utah; Don Bruce Seat of Provo, Utah; Delbert Paul Seat of Elk Ridge, Utah; and David Scott Seat of Provo, Utah. She is also survived by her best friend and most especially loved companion, Greg Hall. She is additionally survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her special cat, Samantha. She is preceded in death by her parents.

At Kerrie’s request, there will not be any formal funeral services.
