Kathy Hales Nelson

I attended USU and earned my degree in Elementary Education with a Math minor. I moved home to teach at Springville Middle School. After 3 years I thought I'd teach forever and so I got my Masters in School Counseling. Then I had children and it all changed. I taught part-time with Logan for two years and it was great but when I had my little Kara I only lasted one more year... then I retired.
Life is great! We're not real adventurous and we like the comfort zone of Spanish Fork and family.

I have many memories from high school. All with different people and different settings. I loved high school....wouldn't want to do it again...but it was a great learning experience.
I remember my old white, Ford Fairlane. I always left the keys in it so I could keep track of them. Kurt Peterson and his friends thought it was fun to move my car from place to place. It was fine until they moved it to the other side of the school. I was in a hurry and they were in trouble. Once I came out to find my car filled to the rim with packaging peanuts, I could barely drive home.
