40 years of change WOW! My 40 years has brought about more than one 180 degree trun in my life. After two failed marriages (more than I care to count )I found myself back at my beginnings, as I have taken back my maiden name and plan to keep it that way. In the past three years I have managed to build a successful cleaning buisness with my eldest daughter. Cleaning homes around the Omaha area. I also work as hostess in the breakfast room at the Best Western Hotel in Bellevue on weekends. I and my 11 year old cat Butterfinger, live in a cute little house near Sac Air Base. My greatest joy are my children and grandchildren. Daughter Deanna is now 37 and the proud mother of step-daughter Brittnay who is 18 and graduates mothers day this year. 18 month old Cyrus, who is the apple of his grandma's eye and Zoey Lynn who is due to be born the end of may. This grandma stays busy! Besides popping out kids, Deanna and husband Frank do alot of Christian out-reach in our area thru thier beautiful gifted voices. Daughter Lisa is now 33 and works at a local assisted living center. She is also taking tests and classes to become an LPN nurse. She and husband Albert love to travel around Europe. Albert served 2 years in Iraq, defending our country and is safely back with us, working at the post office. Like all of you, I continue to age and try to do it gracefully, thru faith and hard work. My writing continues. (Just not brave enough to submit to publishers) I have had 3 poems published however. One in the Iowa Book of Poetry, several years ago. Looking forward to seeing all of you once again. my new grand-daughter has arrived 5lbs 4ozs, lots of black hair, and dark eyes, zoey was born may 28th will try to get some pics posted. Just one added memo sense seeing all of you in june. I have written my first novel, intitled THE MAN UP-STAIRS. Not sure where it will go, hoping it will be published in 09, it may take me till the end of the year to get it that far, huh!!! also my eldest daughter deanna has her 20th class reunion this june back at shs, good god!!! I am getting old.
my best remembered school memorys were vicky and jane becoming home-coming queens. and english teacher tom vinson, taking a dive backwards off his chair, on the high podium in study hall. Thank God he wasn't hurt.
