SHS Alumni Throwdown & Social Website!
Saturday, April 10th, 2010 the classes of SHS 1988-1993 are invited to participate in an event, never before attempted! We will bring these 6 classes together to PLAY BALL!
Saturday, April 10th
JB Hunt Park, Springdale
Registration will open at 10:30am, Games will begin @11am

As many of you know we have not had the commitment from the 6 classes as much as we anticipated. Therefore we are making some drastic changes to the event structure.
1.) First and foremost the biggest change is that we will not being playing softball. The committee has received alot of feedback about people being "out of practice" or not having a glove, too old & feeble :) to play, etc. So the suggestion of Kick ball came up. It was enthusiastically approved, as you really have to have minimal skills and equipment to kick a ball around the field.
2.) Due to the low registration #'s we will not have teams based on year of graduation. We have two fields reserved that day, therefore we will split into teams and play, play for fun! The trophy will be awarded to the year that brings the most participants to the event.
3.) 70% of the people we are friends with, or that have emailed us would rather come to just socialize and catch up with old friends, so here is our solution to that.
**It is still FREE to attend
**for $12 per person you will receive a T-shirt, get to play in the kickball game, and eat. For those of you that have already paid for $12 to play, you will still get a T-shirt, and play, as well as a meal. The meal is 1/2 chicken, chips, dessert & a drink.
4.) Don't forget the After Hours Social at the Green Room the event of the 10th. If you can't make it to the throwdown, then please try to join us that evening.
We appreciate everyone that registered, and have passed on our information to those without FB, and we realize that our efforts and best laid plans did not work out as we had hoped. If you would like to withdraw from the event, please let Terri know, and she will get you a full refund.
