MARCH 2021

Hello Class of ‘80!  

Whew! What a year 2020 was! We hope all of you got through the year safely and are healthy. If any have experienced losses, we send comfort your way.

It was decided to postpone our 40th reunion and to look into having it the Summer of 2021. Although we have come a long way in moving towards a return to normal, the Committee feels we are still not at a point we can move forward with a Summer reunion. We are still under the restricted gatherings of 50 or less, mask and social distance mandates. Even as restrictions start to lift, many people will most likely want to travel and spend  time with family they haven’t seen in awhile. It was discussed postponing to 2022, but that would put us within a few years of our 45th reunion! 

Therefore, the Committee has decided to forego our 40th gathering and plan for a hopefully larger and awesome 45th in the Summer of 2025! In the meantime, perhaps some impromptu, casual get-togethers could happen if anyone travels through the Springfield area!

Please continue to reach out to missing classmates that have not signed up on our class page here on Class Creator. Also, please message Susan Irwin about any classmates who have passed that are not listed in our ‘In Memory’ section or if you have missing information to add to their memorial.
