MISSING CLASSMATES

Know the email address of a missing Classmate? Click here to contact them!

Welcome to the Greenon High School Class of 1988 website!

Where has the time gone? Yep ... we are nearing 30 years since graduation day! Your Reunion Committee is having their first meeting and starting to plan our 30-year reunion! To those of you who have already updated your classmate profiles, Thank You! For those of you that don't have a clue what I'm talking about ... I have embellished the questions on your classmate profiles ... this will allow us to get to know each other a little bit better. And, there is now the option of allowing classmate comments on your classmate profile. This will allow other classmates to leave you messages on your personal page. You have the option of editing or deleting any comments made, and you will receive an e-mail from the system letting you know a comment has been left on your page. If you are interested in answering the "new" questions for your profile or turning on your message board, you'll need to go in and edit your profile!  Remember to continue to post pictures and keep your profiles updated!  Everybody loves checking out other people's profiles!

If this is your first time here, WELCOME! The first thing you should do is click on Classmate Profiles (top toolbar, on the left), find and click on your name, and update your profile! All you need is an e-mail address and a password! It's SO EASY!  Once you have updated your profile, you can take some time to browse around this website that I built just for OUR CLASS!  So, grab your drink of choice and check out the fun 80's music page, take the "just for fun" Class Reunion Survey, visit the In Memory section and say a prayer for those we've lost, and reconnect with your old classmates by using the messaging system built into this website or by posting messages on the Message Forum!

HAVE FUN!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are so blessed to announce that we are expecting our 10th child! This will make us an even 5 and 5 and complete our family, an even dozen members once our new son arrives near Halloween. It's a little scary (pun intended) to be a new mom again at this age, but truly a wonderful journey thru pregnancy and motherhood that I am very blessed to have the chance to experience one more time. We are also excited that our town's high school band will be participating in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC! Our oldest daughter, Jennifer, a freshman this year made the ColorGuard Team (Flags) and will be a part of the performance, enjoying a well-earned (she raised ALL the funds for the $2000 cost herself!) trip to NYC for the first time ever. Check out her photo and perhaps you might see her on TV as part of the Niceville High School Eagle Pride Marching Band. (Andrea Davis Mountain)

OUR CLASS BRICK HAS BEEN INSTALLED!  Thank you to all the classmates that contributed toward this purchase!  Here's a picture of it (click here for more details):

Don't forget to add this website to your favorites list ... that way, we'll only be a click away!  Just right click your mouse and choose "Add to Favorites"!

When you log on to the website, you'll see on the left side of your screen two sets of toolbars (black background/white text).  The top set are pages of the website.  The bottom set are your Member Function choices.  One of the choices says "Post Announcement".   I'll explain ... All announcements appear here on the home page.  As the administrator, I have to "approve" all announcements before they are made active.  If you have something you want to share--whether it's an engagement, birth of a baby, unique accomplishment, deployment orders, prayer request, etc., please feel free to use this function.  Your announcement will appear here for a period of time and then it will be posted on the GHS NEWS page.  Any questions ... you know how to reach me!

Attention:  Want to be a guest and have full access to our website?  Send me an e-mail via the Contact Us button above.  I'll need your name and e-mail address!  Several members from other GHS graduating classes have inquired about this option.  Faculty--you are welcome, too!

REMINDER:  I have the ability to "blast the class" (send one e-mail to everyone that has registered on this website).  Whenever you receive a message either from me (your website administrator) or from anyone who cares to send you a message, your e-mail will show a message from "postmaster@classcreator.net."   Please do not delete these messages!  This is my primary means of communication with you aside from you logging on to the website and reading the information posted here!  Please add the above-mentioned address into your address book so if your SPAM filter is set to High and you have your e-mail set up to only receive messages from people you know (i.e., only the addresses listed in your contacts), the message won't be kicked out to your SPAM folder.  Thanks!

AWESOME!  Way to go, '88 grads! ... Since the launch of this website on May 1st, 2008, we've already had 73% of our classmates sign on and update their profiles!  Reach out to those who haven't signed on yet by e-mailing them (scroll up--on the right side of the page), give them a call and give them the website address, or if you run into them while you are out and about, be sure to tell them about it!  REMEMBER TO TELL THEM IT'S FREEBTW, for those of you that have offered kudos on this website, thank you very much!  I'm glad you are enjoying it and taking advantage of the opportunity to reach out to old friends!

The Class of '89 and the Class of '90 finally did it ... they did their own websites!  Go to www.greenon89.com and www.greenon90.com to check it out!

Tired of paying top dollar at the pump?  Check out this cool website.  Just type in your zip code ... and BAM!  It gives you all the gas prices in your neck of the woods!  Check it out ... you might save some $$$$$$$$$$$$!

Hey all you gamers!  I added some fun 80's games to the GHS News/Games page.  Check it out ... but be careful ... it may become addicting!  Classic games ROCK!
