Edward Schultz VIEW PROFILE

Age 55, of Canton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 in his residence. Ed was born in Springfield, Ohio, on July 1, 1955. He graduated from Springfield North High School and Wittenberg University. An energetic, hardworking man, Ed was employed for many years in the Oil and Gas Industry and currently worked as a Senior District Landman for EnerVest Operating, LLC. Ed loved being outdoors and enjoyed hiking, swimming and anything to do with nature or animals. He especially loved fishing the Sloughs of Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay, where he enjoyed many wonderful summers. Ed was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on or being around cars, motorcycles, and all types of equipment or machinery. He was athletically gifted and excelled at several sports including football, baseball, Lacrosse and tennis. Ed was known for his friendly and outgoing nature and will be remembered fondly for his exceptional kindness and generosity. 

Survived by sister, Sue Rindy Arnold and her husband, Jeff; and Ed's girlfriend, Cynthia Vignos. Ed is also survived by his cousins, Rollie (Connie) Schultz, Kathy (Robert) Eash and Brian Schultz, all of North Carolina, Kay (Don) Stroud of Nevada, Dr. Kathryn (Larry) Burris, (daughter, Callie-Ann of Souith Dakota), James and Jeffrey Florio of Ohio and Virginia and Gary (Joanne) Sarver, Tom (Marianne) Sarver and Jerry (Mary) Sarver of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Edward O. and Audrey M. (Sarver) Schultz, to whom Ed had devoted much of his time and energy as a caregiver until they passed.
