From Long Ago

Thanks to Paul Hudson, class of 1960, for a look at some cars from the good old days. Hard to believe they're models. And thanks to Louise Kendall Peale, class of '60, for this video that sheds light on Paul's find.

Back Row: Sandra Anderson '58, Sharon Call '61, Martha Wood '59, Janet Rousse '60, Connie Bean '60. Front Row: Doris Snell '61, Doreen Hildreth '60, Karen Belcher '60, Nadine Spaulding '60, Sandy Woodward '60.

Picture from Sandy Woodward class of 1960, received January 1, 2010. I posted it because Sandra Anderson is in it.

This is the cover of an SHS publication from 1919. It was sent to a number of people in an August 20, 2009 e-mail from Eugene Patch, class of 1957, wherein he stated:

"Attached is a few pages from a SHS publication  SHS Echoes,  from 1919.  My mother graduated in 1919 and I found this is some family papers. The last 2 pages,  describe the CO-OP course, when it started and names the CO-Ops from the early years. Pass it on to anyone that you think might be interested."

I received it from Betty Reasoner Larabee who in turn had gotten it from one of the people to whom Gene had initially sent it, Don Thomas.

Don Thomas also forwarded it to Dick Benton, class of 1960. He, Dick,  reports that his wife Cheryl is the granddaughter of Bernard Ward a 1916 graduate of the program.

When was this aerial view taken? Doesn't make it so but the consensus is during the time period from 1945 thru 1954.
