Just a quick update. My mother and I would like to thank everyone for your constant support, cards and emails. She is having a great week; very cheerful and full of energy. All of you have been wonderful and words can't express how grateful we are. She looks forward to the mail every day to see who 's thinking of her today. Thank you again.

Hi Everyone! This is Linda Gay Loegel in sunny southern California. My husband, Fred, and I drove across the country two years ago to be in Springfield in time for my 50th class reunion with all of you. I wrote a book about our six-week trip, called Bumps Along The Way. It's a lighthearted look at a road trip by two cranky senior citizens; sickness and pain just happened to come along for the ride.
