Sandra Jean Paul, 83, of South Burlington, Vermont, passed away on September 22, 2024. Born in Barre, Vermont, to Henry and Mary (Giacomini) Paul, Sandra spent most of her childhood in Springfield, Vermont, and graduated from Springfield High School. She went on to college at the University of Vermont and then got a master's degree in nursing. She worked as a pediatric NICU nurse in Burlington-area hospitals for her entire career.

Sandra enjoyed traveling to Europe and the American Southwest, where she put her love of photography to good use. She was interested in astronomy and spent time each summer at Springfield's Stellafane Convention, a gathering of amateur telescope makers.
Sandra is survived by her brother Remo Paul and sister-in-law Priscilla, her brother Robert Paul, her niece Jennifer Paul Carton, her nephew Steven Paul and his wife Stephanie, and her great-niece Eliza Carton.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 Pleasant Street in Springfield on October 11, 2024, at 11am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Springfield. Davis Memorial Chapel of Springfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
