After graduation, I worked on an island off the coast of Maine for the summer. In the fall, I went to Ma. to attend a 2-year business college. Then returned to Springfield, married and moved to Rutland, Vermont. Got divored and remarried. We moved to Baltimore, Vt, but I continued working in Rutland until 1978. We got involved with the Foster Parent program and and stayed with that until we moved to South Carolina in 1990. That was very interesting. We had 13 children in our home during that time. Mostly teenage boys and that was very interesting.

After we moved to Sc, I worked at a retirement community as Activity Director. I really enjoyed that. Retired from there in 2003. However, I went back to work in 2004. The job started out as two days a week, then went to 3 and am now working 5 days a week. I am thinking about getting done the end of the year.

During our years in SC, I have traveled to Scotland twice, England, France and Italy. For our 25th anniversary, we went to Alaska.

I can't believe you were at the 55th and we missed you. Spent a lot of time catching up with Rhoda Whitney and Natalie Nesbit and Bill Duffy. Plus Marie Sadler had unearthed an old Woody's Shell jacket that she wanted to give me (Linda) so we went up to her mother's house to get it. We should have moved around more because we missed some other folks too that we would have liked to have seen. Hope the good Lord has treated you well and will continue to do so.
