PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Euleta Veysey, of Port Orange, formerly of Springfield, Vt., died Dec. 29, 2011, in Daytona Beach.

She was born in Springfield, Vt., on Sept. 26, 1943, the daughter of Wilmot "Bill" and Arlene Gould Veysey. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1961. She moved to Hartford, Conn., and worked as a supervisor at The Hartford Insurance Co., where she was employed for almost 20 years.

After moving back to Springfield she took a job at the State of Vermont Department of Labor and Industry until retiring in 2006. She then moved to Port Orange, where she enjoyed several years of retirement.

Survivors include a brother, Brent Veysey of Quincy, Mich.; an aunt, Olavene Haas of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Duane Veysey.
