Lois-Ann Brusseau (Streeter)

SPRINGFIELD — Lois-Ann Streeter, 44, of Park Street, died Friday morning, April 1, 1988 in Springfield following a long illness. She was born on March 23, 1944, in Claremont, N.H., daughter of Wesley and Lois (Durie) Brusseau. 

Mrs. Streeter attended schools in Springfield, graduating from Springfield High School in 1962. She had made her home in the Springfield area most of her life. 

For several years she managed Baker's Fabric Store and for the past two years had been employed at LaValley's Building Supply as a book keeper. 

Currently, she was serving as president of the Springfield Unitarian-Universalist Church and had been active in the League of Women Voters. 

Survivors include her father of Springfield; two daughters, Sara A. Streeter and Betsy L. Streeter, both of Springfield; a brother, James L. Brusseau of Springfield; and two nieces and a nephew. 

She was predeceased by her mother, who died March 31, 1988. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. in the Unitarian-Universalist Church on the Fairground Road. The Rev. Katherine H. Winthrop, pastor, will officiate. 

A private burial service will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Alstead, NH, at a later date. 

There will be no calling hours. 

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Unitarian-Universalist Church, 21 Fairground Rd., Springfield, 05156. 

The Davis Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
