BARRE - The graveside service for Timothy P. Crowley, 48, a former resident of Springfield, who died Wednesday morning at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin after a bnef illness, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Marys Cemetery in Springfield. The Rev. William Giroux will officiate. 

He was born in Barre, Sept. 7, 1944, son of Leo and Ethel (McAllister) Crowley. 

He graduated from Springfield High School. 

Mr. Crowley was employed at the Jones and Lamson Machine Company for more than 23 years. He was employed at the Bombardier Corporate in Barre for the past six years.

He was a member of the Springfield Moose Lodge 679 and was active with the mens softball league in Springfield.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela (Brooks) Crowley of South Barre; two sons, Patrick Crowley of Charlestown) N.H., and Scott Crowley stationed with the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va.; a daughter, Erin Kenny of Charlestown, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Jessica Granger of Barre; two brothers, Jon Crowley and Terry Crowley, both of Springfield; five sisters, Claire LaFreniere and Maureen Eastman, both of Barre; Billie Capotisti of South Carolina, Betty Bobrowski of North Walpole, N.H., and Janet Barile of Florida; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
