Linda Corenne Gillette (Stevens)

LEBANON, N.H. Linda Corenne Stevens, mother, wife and friend, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of July 9, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones. 

Linda was born to Cleon and Mafalda Gillette on March 22, 1944, in Springfield, Vt., and lived most of her life in Claremont, N.H. She attended Springfield High School, class 1962, and North Hampton (Mass.) Commercial College. 

Linda was known as courageous, warm and open-hearted to all who came in contact with her, never judging and always looking for the good in all. She was a perfect wife, mother and friend. Her advice, smile, laugh and sense of humor will continue through her children, husband, family and those whom she was proud to call her friends. 

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Stevens; her brothers, Mitchell and his significant other, Chris Anastasiou, Anthony Gillette and his significant other, Darlyn Walker; her daughters, Liane and spouse Mark Schubring, and Larissa Stevens; her son, Corey Stevens and spouse Kristi; as well nine grandchildren. 

To honor Linda's wishes, a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life and share her memory will take place at The Teal Lantern of Sugar River Valley Technical Center, 111 South St., Claremont, on Saturday, July 13, 2013, 1:00 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Ladies of the Moose Club, 209 Broad St., Claremont, NH 03743.
