Francis J. Mandigo 79, passed away on Wednesday evening May 4, 2022 at the Springfield Health & Rehab. Center in Springfield, Vermont. He was born February 6, 1943 in Springfield, Vermont the son of Francis and Mabel (Griffith) Mandigo. He attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield High School.

Francis worked in Maintenance at the Fellows Gear Shaper in Springfield for over 30 years, retiring at age 65.

Francis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his moped. He enjoyed bowling, bowling league, and watching old westerns. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed baseball history and trivia.

He is survived by his nephew Richard Rogers of Perkinsville, Vt. who has been his caregiver for the past few years. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his siblings, Edward, Barbara, Anne, Marjorie, Janice and Sylvia.

A graveside service will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, June 11th at the Plain Cemetery in Perkinsville, Vermont. Reverend Gerry Piper will officiate.
