SPRINGFIELD - A funeral service T for Stanley J. Palowski, 46, who died suddenly Thursday afternoon upon arrival at Springfield Hospital, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Davls Memorial Chapel. John Parker, a commissioned minister, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. 

He was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Springfield, son of Stanley and Ruth (Spencer) Palowski. 

Mr. Palowski attended Springfield schools, graduating from Springfield! High School in 1962. He had made his home in the community most of his life. 

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and later worked for!!: the U.S. Postal Service in both White River Junction and Ludlow.

He was a member of the American Legion. 

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Valdes) Palowski; his father of Ludlow; two sons, Stanley Palowski Jr. of Springfield, and Brian Palowski of San Diego, Calif: a daughter, Monique Palowski of Ashley, Ind.; a brother, Thomas Palowski of Claremont, N.H.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call Sunday from 7 to. 9 p.m. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital, in White River Junction 05001.
