Scott Michael Stearns, age 40, St. Joseph, MN, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 21, 2015 of a heart attack at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. There will be no funeral service. Scott was born September 10, 1974 in St. Cloud, MN to Robert M. and Katherine (Spiczka) Stearns. He graduated from Apollo High School and received a BS Degree in Computer Science from St. Cloud State University. Scott was employed by Wolters Kluwer for 11 years. He enjoyed online gaming with friends, and was an avid bowler and golf enthusiast. Survivors include his father, Robert "Bob" Stearns of Sartell, MN; mother, Katherine "Kathy" Stearns of St. Cloud, MN; brothers, Joseph R. Stearns of Sartell, MN; Eric (Tracy) George of Waite Park, MN; and Brady A. Stearns of Sartell, MN.
