I echo the sentiments of my classmates...thanks to you and the committee for all the planning and hard work (already done and yet to be done!).  Looking forward to next summer's reunion; hope some of the "lost" classmates turn up before then!  I was also surprised to see so many of our classmates have passed away....guess it's to be expected, but it's a harsh reality.

The list of 'lost' classmates is NOT accurate!!  I uploaded it a while back and the committee has found/updated close to 300.  Currently we have split up the master list and are searching online for info, and with good luck too.  Unfortunately, a LOT of the phone numbers are disconnected or no longer in service which is a sign of the times with so many giving up land lines and going with cell phones.  HA...and we thought Maxwell Smart using his shoe as a phone was so far fetched, didn't we?

Currently the committee is using different locators online, i.e., whitepages.com, anywho.com, peoplefinder.com etc.  So far we have had good luck.  The biggest challenge is that a lot of land line numbers are no longer in service.  Too bad there isn't a cell phone locator (good for us, but bad for all other uses, lol).  The 8 of us are working dilligently to find all that we can before January 1 and then will publish the "LOST' list and hopefully from there everyone else will know where we can locate a few more.

All in all...everything for the reunion is way ahead of schedule and from the responses here on OUR class website (which will continue indefinately in the coming years) looks like we will have a record crowd for our 40th!  We can't wait!!

I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with the others in saying "Thanks" both to you and your committee! The site is great, one of the best organized I have seen.

On another note, have you used any of the paid online services trying to locate people. You have a legitimate purpose, so it should be ok under MO law. If not, the searching company should let you know. You probably know an attorney whom you may ask, but if not, I know a St. Louis attorney who could probably answer that question.

Everyone on this committee has made remarkable progress and has done a super job!!   All the work and efforts that you guys have done has kept the rest of us in the loop.   Just seeing everyone's name again and remembering different things that happened involving those people has been so much fun and great for our memories (or at least mine).  Thanks to the committee and all of you that have put so much time into making this a memorable reunion.   I can't make the reunion, but do want to try to make one of the next upcoming Happy Hours!
