When I was growing up, I lived at 6945 Hillsland Avenue in South St. Louis and Peter Clatto lived at 6915 Hillsland.  I knew him quite well.  He was at the first birthday party I ever had.  He will be greatly missed!

Peter was a sweet friend.  He googled my name 4 years ago and sent a card to my business.  Spoke to him 3 times this summer, I know he wasn't in the greatest health, but was saddened when I saw that he has passed away. Does anyone know what happened?

Peter had been in failing health for the past couple of years.  He had several in home falls during that time, which required hospitalizations and periodic stays in rehab centers.  After his fall this past Spring, he could no longer return home and live alone.  Peter took a fatal fall at a skilled rehab facility in Town and Country, and passed away from that severe injury, along with other medical complications.  He spent many holidays with my family over the years after his mother died.  Lots of memories of him for sure.  RIP Pete.
