I don't know what caused her death but I noticed from the gravestone that she's buried next to her sister who passed at the same young age.

I haven't found an obit for Christine, but her sister Laurie's obit suggests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Assn. Perhaps Christine was diabetic as well; it sometimes does run in families.
