Our classmate and friend Ken started at Bishop DuBourg High School and later graduated from Southwest High School.
It's been a really long time since I spoke with Ken. Shortly after high school I asked him why he switched high schools to which he said that he could graduate in January instead of waiting until June. I recently spoke with his younger brother Ron who reminded me that we called Ken the nickname, "Weed" circa 8th grade due to his early cigarette smoking habit.
