Our classmate and friend Tom went to Nottingham grade school after leaving St. Gab's and then graduated from Southwest High School. He did attend St. Louis Junior College. There is a memorial tree and plaque in Francis Park for him at Itaska and Tamm. He had Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The last time time I spoke to Tom, was at St. Anthony's Hospice a short time before he passed away where there was a large gathering of friends, a farewell of sorts.
