Did you know that the current Solicitor General of Jamaica, Mr Douglas Leys, is a StMHS's past student?

One of Jamaica's biggest films, 'Shottas', was produced by StMHS's own Norman Silvera and directed by Charles Higgins both from the class of 1983.

Former Govenor General, Sir Florizel Glasspole, personal limousine driver was a StMHS's past student.

I know about all the great work you guys have been doing for the best school in the world. We are truly appreciative of such. I must say a big thank you on behalf of my batchmates though. My years at St. Mary High have been five of the most memorable years of my life. It has mold and shape me in order for me to contribute positively to society. I am wrong if I tell you that it has taught me how to fit into society. St. Mary High has improved my skills, knowledge, thinking ability and overall personality so that I always stand out wherever I go. Over the years, I have learnt not to try and blend or fit in with the crowd but to be an outstanding individual. Personally, there have been a lot of wonderful memories. Academically, I have earned a spot on the Honor Roll for five years placing 2nd among 40+ students, and in defined subject areas as well. This is all credited to the hard-working, courteous and warm-hearted teachers. I LOVE THESE PPL. Not to mention the ever motivating Mr Johnson...whom I miss so much. He was more than a father, brother and a friend to the entire school family. WOW...my journey there has been life changing, a change for the best. You guys have paved the path for us all as we continue following the foot prints you all left. It has been through FAITH AND COURAGE that we all continue to raise the banner of our school and keep ever floating high in the air above all.

Molly-Gay B. (Class of 2010)
