Jim's obit appeared in the May 4, 1993 edition of the St. Pete Times. He died while waiting for a lung transplant in a hospital in St. Louis. He was 26.

"Jimmy, a 1985 graduate of Northeast High in St. Petersburg, had cystic fibrosis, a disease that progressively weakens the lungs. The average life span for men with the disease is the late 20s."

Jimmy was a really nice, friendly, yet shy guy.  I will always remember his great smile and the fun laughs we had in the classes we shared.

I am blessed to have known Jimmy and his wonderful family. He was always the most kind hearted and sincere boy. Your light shines through your beautiful mom and amazing brother. God's blessings for you always Jimmy!
