Dear Dell ...

So sorry you won't be able to be with us physically.  My memories of you go all the way back to kindergarten at Mt. Vernon Elementary School.  I used to get into so much trouble because I'd walk through the orange groves to spend time with my 'best friend', 'Bubbles'.  I was one of the few people who seemed to be able to get away with calling you by your mother's pet name for you,  Remember?  I even named my puppy after you!  Wonder how many people remember that 'Dell' was actually your middle name ... and yet now, you are your first name, 'Angel'.  Oops!  I let your secrets out of the bag!  Needless to say, I have many fond memories of you and know you are enjoying the freedom of your new home'.  I'm so grateful you shared a part of your earthly journey with me.  Thank you.

Fondly, Joyce Ann (my name back in those days, 60+ years ago)

Dell,  I miss you so much!  You were one of my dearest friends since we took the bus going to Disston.  We had so much fun walking and singing harmony to so many songs.  You were one of the few people I knew who could sing harmony to anything by ear.  I think of you often and can't believe you are gone from our physical earth.  If anyone is guaranteed to be in heaven, it is you.  I am so sad you won't be able to see your beautiful grandchildren grow up.  I'm so thankful I got to see you or talk to you everytime I came back to St. Pete.  May you enjoy the peace and happiness of heaven.  I love you.  Andee
