OLSON, Kenneth 69, of Largo, died March 15, 2014, at Largo Rehab & Spa. Ken was an avid boat racer. No survivors have come forward. A Life Tribute, Gulfport 727-347-5521
He was a mover and shaker from High School on. He started Olsen & Associates Realtors on Treasure Island and employed many a Bogie Grad and took over the majority of the South Pinellas Beach Market. He stayed on top of his market till the late 70's.
Ken enjoy his toys from Bogie and many years to boot. He always had the coolest cars, boats, airplanes and more.
I got my start in Real Estate working part time for Ken and we made a lot of money and had some great times. Sometime ago Ken had several strokes and was totally disabled. He spent the past 10 years in a nursing home and unaware of his surroundings. I have no idea what happened to his 1st wife and daughter Kathy Kraven. Let us know if you have any information.
I have so many memories of Ken, all his successful businesses, and of he and Kathy together. I remember that nice big office he built in Treasure Island! So sorry his last years weren't very much fun. Hope he is resting in peace.... Susie Daube Howell
I worked for Olsen and Associates at their west central avenue office selling businesses during a short time in 1974. At that time Ken was very busy with his many toys and running the Olsen and Associates Bussiness. Sorry to hear about the last years of his life. SAD. RIP Ken, Tom Myers
Kenneth Miles Olsen was a terrific guy. I first met Ken when he was in 8th grade at Farragut and had moved down from Chicago. He had a sparkling smile and love of life. May he rest in peace
