This photo of Gerd at her second wedding. I am not sure of the date – it was sometime in the 90’s (I think). His name is Gunnar Neilsen and he took wonderful care of Gerd all during their marriage but especially at the end during her long illness. (She died this year of Lou Gehrig’s disease.)

Gerd was a sweet, sweet girl. She's in my fondest memories of our senior year.
I lost touch with Gerd when she returned to Norway after graduation. The next, and last, time I saw her was at our 20th class reunion, and she was just the same - a wonderful person.
