I am sorry to hear another of our beloved classmates is gone (Jan. '11)  and won't be joining us at this year's reunion.  Lorraine, you will be missed, and I will send up a special prayer on January 16--we share the same birthdate.

I had a strange relationship with girls when I was at SHS I walked them to class and carried their books but never went any further than that. Not one date during high school. I met Lorraine and fell crazy in love with her. I carried her books everywhere. What I didn't know was she had a boyfriend in another school! She must have liked me too because she broke up with him. I found out about him through the grapevine and that I was going to die.. at that time I thought that  would be ok because she was worth it. I don't remember what happened to our relationship but I do remember that I was proud to be with her. I hope she did well and I'm sorry to hear she is gone.

I thought about you on our mutual birthday, but technology precluded me from sending this note--computer was down.  I hope there are no computers in the hereafter, wherever I'm headed.

Thinking of you and all of our classmates no longer with us.  You would have enjoyed our 50th--it was really a hoot!

Lorraine...just wondering if there is a celestial bar up there 'cause a good portion of us classmates who may be lucky to join you one day don't want to be thirsty.   Oh, I'm sure there is...my Irish relatives are with you.   And Lonny Augustine, Bill Ryan, Mike Phelan....    Always thinking of you on our mutual birth date.
