Woody we called him. He was one of the "Tiki Buddies" on the swim team. Terry Sopher, Dick Noon, Elwood, and I were seniors and really close buddies. We all wore a little Tiki doll necklass that I believe we bought in Chicago at a big swim meet. If you still have your yearbook we have a picture with Coach Lumburg in the swimming section. We all planned to be in the 1964 Olympics. Elwood could swim like a fish and had the perfect body for it. I never heard if he went any further with our plans. Elwood was the envy of all the guys because he was so tight with all the hot girls. We would see him and them talking and laughing in the hallways. What a stud he was. I'm sure he did well in life, he had all the right stuff likable, smart, hard working, and always happy.

Woody was always lots of fun. I'm sad he's no longer with us.

Woody and I were in homeroom together. He was such a nice guy. He always had the biggest, best smile.  I will miss him at our reunion.

Thinking of you Woody.  Woody was a good friend, loads of fun, and a great swimmer and pal on the swim team.  Always a smile on his face, good humor, and a solid friend.  Hope he had a satisfying life, and had as much pleasure in his life as he brought to those of us who were his friends.
