Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel in Broussard, LA for Dean Allen Carle, 61, who passed away unexpectedly at his residence on August 30, 2021. 

Reverend Robert Burdeaux, Pastor of Parks Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral service. 

Dean enjoyed deer and duck hunting, fishing, the valleys and mountains of Montana, and everything about the great outdoors. He loved working in his large garden as he learned growing up on a farm in Stuttgart, AR. He was a kind, loving, and dependable Dad and PaPaw with a huge heart. His favorite thing to do was be with his family and attend ball games, wrestling tournaments, dance revues, and cheer events for his grandchildren. He especially loved to listen to every funny story his grandchildren and children wanted to tell him and often expressed how proud he was of their many accomplishments. 

Dean, a resident of Broussard, was the son of the late Alfred Carle and the former Barbara Underwood.

He is survived by his children, Amber (Bobby) Hebert, Dean (Mary) Carle, II, and Joseph (Kristin) Carle; grandchildren, Brayden Hebert, Gabrielle Hebert, Colton Carle, Kendall Carle, Sullivan Carle, and Stella Carle; sister, Jan (Tom) Montgomery; nephew, Robert Montgomery; great-niece, Annabelle Edwards, and former wife and friend, Beth Carle Melancon. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home in Broussard on Friday, September 3 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 PM on Friday afternoon in the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Dean Carle, II, Joseph Carle, Bobby Hebert, Brayden Hebert, and Colton Carle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be C.J. Langlinais, and Robert Montgomery.
