In Memory

Kirk Daniels

Kirk Wayne Daniels, 62, of Humphrey, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, on May 8, 2022, after battling congestive heart failure. He passed peacefully in his sleep at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock.

He was born to parents Wayne and Gerry Daniels, on February 29, 1960 (a leap year baby born on a snowy day) in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Kirk graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1978. He worked many different jobs and was adept at a variety of skills, including being a licensed electrician. Kirk proudly served in the National Guard and loved his country.

Kirk is survived by his daughter, Teighlor Chaney, her husband Steven, step-son, Tyler Earls, grandchild Halen Earls, and sisters Detra Abbott and Tena Bryant. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Steve Bryant, nephews Jimmy and Alex Abbott and Stonewall Bryant, and niece Heather Leder. Kirk was predeceased by parents Wayne and Gerry Daniels and nephew Drew Abbott.

Kirk was known for his humor and kind heart. He cared deeply for his friends and family and could make anyone laugh whether they knew him or not. He was a great father who loved going on adventures with his daughter. Kirk, once an avid hunter, passed his love of nature onto her. An animal lover, Kirk leaves behind his two dogs Ginger and Bear who have been taken into care by the Humane Society of Pulaski Co., a no-kill shelter in Little Rock.

Kirk’s Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on June 8 at 2 p.m. at the Humphrey Community Center. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 410 S. Division St., Humphrey, AR 72073 on this day.

Contributions in his honor can be offered to K9s for Warriors, a charity that works to bring service dogs to veterans in need: https://k9sforwarriors.org/.
