After my M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics (1986) at the University of Arkansas, I did some postgrad work at The Ohio State University as a computer instructor. I got bit hard by the computer bug, and went off on a computer and technology tangent and never looked back. I am currently working at West TN Communications as their cellular sales manager. Yes, Verizon Wireless. "Can you hear me now?" We are also an ISP specializing in wireless internet for homes and businesses, and we're a Motorola two-way radio premier dealer. So, I've come full circle in the technology loop.
I am married to Marvin Scearce and live in Halls, TN (just north of Memphis) and love it here. I skipped children (but do have two very nice stepsons who I think the world of) and went straight to grandchildren, who like to keep me on my toes.
I belong to Bethesda United Methodist Church these days. I teach the youth Sunday school class, and play the organ & piano (and sometimes trombone) for our church services.
Marvin & I inherited his mother's house four years ago, so a lot of our time is devoted to remodeling it. We have quite a bit more to go before we're ready to call it quits. But, it does keep us out of trouble.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the 20th anniversary of our 10th class reunion. (Thanks for the catch-phrase of our reunion, Lori!)
