Christopher Matthew Mollohan, 35, of Duck, passed away on Nov. 29, 2007, at home from complications of a seizure. Matthew was a 1990 graduate of Braxton County High School. He survived an automobile accident in September of 2000 that nearly took his life. Matthew worked construction prior to his accident and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Mary Duffield; paternal grandfather, Charles Ivan Mollohan Sr.; and brother, Patrick Eugene Mollohan. He is survived by his children, Chelsie Browning, 16, of Birch River and Christopher Daniel Mollohan, 6, of Maysel; parents, Clark and Fannie Duffield Mollohan of Duck; sister, Pamela Shafer of Rosedale; brothers, Michael and Jeffery Mollohan, both of Duck; paternal grandmother, Elsie Mollohan of Duck; nephews, Gregory and Patrick; and niece, Brooke. The service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with Pastor Roger Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in Sirk Cemetery, Duck. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
