WILTON MANORS, FL - John M. Delbarian, 54, N.E. 26th Drive, died Wednesday at Wilton Manors, FL, after a brief illness.
Born in Glendale, CA, he was son of Berdge Delbarian and the late Lucille Mooradian Delbarian Quinn. He was raised in Troy; resided in Florida for over 30 years and was a graduate of Troy Public School 14 and Troy High School, and attended Schenectady Community College.
Mr. Delbarian was employed at Cognisa Security in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and worked at Foundations, a halfway house, where he counseled those involved with substance abuse. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his uncles and aunts M. Edward and Doris Mooradian of Eagle Mills, R. Mihran and Ovsanna Moordian of Troy, and Rhoda Mooradian of Clifton Park, and several cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle Richard Mooradian.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Christ Church United Methodist, State St. and Fifth Ave., Troy, with Rev. Dr. James A. Fenimore, Pastor, officiating.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc., corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue in Troy, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
Interment Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.

Dave LeClair '67

This is a sadness and I miss John 'Delly' Delbarian. My love of table tennis, which I still play weekly today, began in the basement in his house on Burdett Ave when we were both 9 or 10. Dave LeClair class of 1967
