Robert Joseph Armao, 63, died Feb. 6, 2013, at his home. He was born in Troy, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1999, coming from his birthplace. He retired from the Postal Service with 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary E. Armao of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Melissa Bauer of Grafton, N.Y.; son, Dominic Armao of Brooklyn, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Lisa Tantillo of Port St. Lucie; stepson, Joe Maloney of Clifton Park, N.Y.; brother, Patrick Armao of Port St. Lucie; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felice and Christina Armao. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997, www.tchospice.org.
