I'm saddened to report that Linda (Davis) Larson recently passed away on January 22, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester at the age of 74. 

As excerpted here from her obituary, it's clear Linda lived a fulfilling and charitable life. 

"She worked in various positions from Samaritan Hospital to volunteering. She volunteered at Social Club, Hands & Hearts Thrift Store, Warm line and The Historical Society, as well as facilitating class at ARA & Spectrum Human Services. She was also on the board as secretary for Peers Together of Wyoming County. Linda belonged to Bible Studies, Creative Writing, Piecemaker’s Quilt Group and Starburst Preschool. Linda was a member of the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church.

Linda served others in all she did, from her grandson’s musical performances to her daughter, Laura’s Mary Kay events. In 2023, she received the distinguished Alan Goodenow Memorial award for Outstanding Service to the Community for Warsaw’s Chamber of commerce.  She has left a legacy of faith, family, and community. She loved to laugh, enjoyed cooking and baking, ceramics, and keeping her family history alive."
