This is beautiful Oamaru in the South Island of New Zealand, home to our own Kirsten Nevins Mills, who has settled into Oamaru by way of Japan and Papua New Guinea. No joke! Kirsten reports that the earthquakes that hit Christchurch were damaging and disruptive, but she is ok. She probably won't make the reunion, so give her shout and say 'hello'.

Here's Jon Puro on the Uganda equator in 2009. As part of his duties as a Research Information Architect, Jon Puro made the long trek to Uganda to help with a malaria research project.  Jon works at OCHIN, Inc., a non-profit healthcare Information Technology company in Portland, providing software, reporting, and research for a network of community health centers in Oregon.  Jon lives in Portland with his wife Emily and 10-year old son, Richard.

Johnny Stutsman successfully completed his journey across the Pacific riding a container ship from Hong Kong to Long Beach, collecting seawater samples in the North Pacific and tending scientific equipment. He spent most of his time in the spotless, but noisy, engine room, accommodations provided by the University of Washington, where Johnny is a research scientist.

Yes, he drove arguably the nicest car at Wilson in our senior year, but did you know that this stalwart fan was buying yet another brand new Volvo as recently as 18 months ago? Here's world-traveler John Starbard in Stalheim, Norway en route to take delivery of his car!
