Paul Thomas Anderson Was born in Tacoma on October 5, 1974. Paul attended Tacoma Public Schools graduating from Wilson High School in 1993. He passed away quietly on December 3, 2012 due to complications from cardiac arrest.

He is survived by his daughters Kaylie and Karlie Anderson, his parents Thomas E. Anderson and Janet D. Anderson, his sister Amy Anderson, his grandfather Thomas H. Anderson and a large extended family of Kowalchuks, Cargills, and Villeneuves.

Paul led an exciting life. He loved fast cars, motorcycles, boats, water sports, and snowboarding. Paul enjoyed many friendships with people of all ages and backgrounds. But above all, Paul loved his daughters, Kaylie and Karlie.

He will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and his history of practical jokes. He will also be remembered by many for his love of music. He sang, played the trumpet, piano and guitar. He had a true gift for hearing and communicating a musical phrase.

Paul was known to his friends as one who had a good heart and the ability to charm. His loyalty to family and friends was the foundation of his personality. A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 4:00 pm December 14, 2012 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, Washington. The service will be at the Aspen Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Intensive Care Unit, where he received excellent care at the end of his life. Donations could also be made to the Humane Society in honor of Paul's love of dogs.
